Jingle Bells

If you are my Facebook friends, you'd probably saw this video already. Nevertheless, I'll share it again on my blog for those who didn't get to see it on my Facebook.

Here is Jayden, performing "Jingle Bells" for his classmates during the school's Christmas party. This piece can be found in the Fiddle Time Joggers that he's currently using for his violin lessons.

We were practicing this song a few weeks before Christmas and I casually asked him if he would like to perform this song for his schoolmates during the party. He obliged. The second piece that he played was not a Christmas song though. It was a special request from his Teacher, Ms Noor, as she said she love the rhythm of the song very much.

I'm always looking for opportunities for Jayden to play the violin for his friends, schoolmates, relatives or as and when there's upcoming concerts organized by his teacher. I believe it's very important as it will help boost his confidence, allowing him to be more receptive to play for future larger scales of concerts and recitals.

Ah....cute! My 3yo also did Jingle Bells this Christmas, but of course a much simpler version since he'd only learnt violin for 7 lessons when 1st introduced the piece.
